(Not shown) Lyss is very casual about her appearance, wearing jeans and sneakers. She prefers comfort over fashion, though she still retains at least moderate style, at least to her.
Personality: Alyssa is the definition of laid back. She takes everything in life in a slow, even stride, preferring to take the scenic route in pretty much everything, almost to the point of laziness (though when accused of sloth she'll claim it's simply procrastination). She hates doing things she deems unnecessary, especially when it comes to manual labor. The only thing she really cares about doing is training Pokémon. She sees Pokémon as non-judging companions who don't really mind that she's a bit lazy. As such, she loves them and enjoys spending her time around them. Because of this interaction, she's slow to anger and generally friendly to most Pokémon Trainers she meets except for a few rare occasions. If there's one thing she can't stand, it's when people openly attack her personality or way of doing things. She has the tendency to lose her seemingly infallible cool and fly off the handle at anyone who does. Her greatest weakness is sweets, and her greatest strength is her air of confidence. Despite her lax way of life, she's absolutely confident that when she does something, she does it right; from Pokémon training, to choosing the right tree to take a nap under.
History: Alyssa Mirvina Kolby was born in Canalave City in the Sinnoh Region to the parents Tyson and Rebecca Kolby. Tyson managed an area of the docks and Rebecca was a librarian at the infamous Canalave Library, the largest library in Sinnoh. Alyssa has a brother and a sister, Thomas and Carylin, respectively. She's the baby of the family and, as most youngest children are, was pampered and spoiled by her parents as much as possible.
This inevitably led to her lackadaisical personality and her unwillingness to do any sort of manual labor. However, she grew up in a town where boats were constantly loading and unloading and shipping goods in and out of the harbor, and Pokémon were often used to aid with the task. Due to the immense amount of time she spent with them, she grew to love Pokémon and dreamed of nothing more than to become a Pokémon Trainer and go on a journey. Her brother and sister before her had done the same, and she was determined to do so as well.
Unfortunately, her laziness and slow movement postponed her until the age of 15, instead of the recommended age of 10. When asked why, her only answer would be "I never got around to it. But I'm doing it now!" Thus, she's chartered a boat from Canalave City (with borrowed money and a discount from her father, of course) to the Tarun region, a place her mother said would be promising for a budding trainer. Better late than never, they always say.

Lvl 5 Bulbasaur (Male)- Bulbasaur is energetic, yet calm. He enjoys running around with Lyss just as much as spending an afternoon snoozing by a stream. He has great synergy with his trainer and likes her a great deal. His attacks are Tackle and Growl.
